چکیده
Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is a phytopathogenic fungus that causes wilting and white rot in several species such as strawberry. The overuse of agrochemicals has caused environmental pollution plant resistance to phytopathogens. Inoculation crops with beneficial microorganisms arbuscular mycorrhizae (AM), plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), their metabolites considered an alternative agrochemicals. B.halotolerans IcBac2.1 (BM) Bacillus TrujBac2.32 (B), native from Peruvian soils, produce antifungal compounds are (PGPR). B. halotolerans TrujBac2 or without G. intraradices mycorrhizal fungi (M) capable controlling S. disease strawberries. mycorrhiza alone decreases incidence well. Treatments chitosan (Ch), which used elicit defense responses against fungal pathogens, were for comparison, well non-inoculated plants (C). Co-inoculation bacteria increases shoot root biomass. Our results show the inoculation good biocontrols

Epidemiology / Épidémiologie Epidemiology of sclerotinia rot of carrot caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum
The epidemiology of sclerotinia rot of carrot was investigated on carrot ‘Cellobunch’ during 1999 and 2000 in Ontario. Apothecia were first detected in the crop in early August to mid-September, after the carrot canopy closed and after 7–11 days with soil matric potentials between –0.1 and –0.4 bars and soil temperatures between 14 and 23 °C. Ascospores were first detected in mid-July to mid-Au...
متن کاملThe First Report of Postharvest Stem Rot of Kohlrabi Caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in Korea
In March 2014, a kohlrabi stem rot sample was collected from the cold storage room of Daegwallyong Horticultural Cooperative, Korea. White and fuzzy mycelial growth was observed on the stem, symptomatic of stem rot disease. The pathogen was isolated from the infected stem and cultured on potato dextrose agar for further fungal morphological observation and to confirm its pathogenicity, accordin...

Submerged culture conditions for polygalacturonase production by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (MR5) were optimized by Taguchi orthogonal array experimental design methodology. This approach facilitates the study of interaction of a large number of variables spanned by factors and their settings with a small number of experiments leading to considerable saving in time and cost for the process optimi...

In the present study, a total of 186 bacterial strains isolated from various soil sources and plant species from Eastern Anatolia region in Turkey were evaluated for their ability to suppress gray mold (Botrytis cinerea Pers. ex Fr.) occurred on strawberry cv. Fern. Among 186 bacterial strains, 36 were found effective to inhibit of development B. cinerea under in vitro conditions, and thirteen ...
